Tolerance

Something that a lot of individuals cannot seem to comprehend:

Something that seems to reverberate off the chambers of their heart without sticking:

Something that challenges the devil’s plan of hate:

Something that opens the groundwork for kindness:

Tolerance.

Now this is not something that can be easily defined in Webster dictionary’s 

Or placed open faced on the counter of a 1950’s diner.

This is something that is fought for.

That is sought for.

That can be caught by others 

However not as quickly as viruses and colds. 

Tolerance. 

How can we expect kindness when we don’t show it?

How can we preach love if we don’t show it?

How can we expect mercy if we don’t show it?

Tolerance. 

Putting others before ourselves, 

Showing compassion when we may not understand, 

And loving our neighbor the way we love ourselves is 

Tolerance.
